How to create a Dial-Up Network Connection
in Windows XP
In the Start menu, select Control Panel
(if you are in the Classic View, in the Start menu select Settings,
and then select Control Panel)
Click Network and Internet Connections (if you are in the Classic View,
go to the next step)
Click Network Connections
On the left, click Create a new connection
Click Next
Click the Connect to the Internet radio button
Click Next
Click the Set up my connection manually radio button
Click Next
Click the Connect using a dial-up modem radio button
Click Next
In the ISP Name text box, type NTCNet
Click Next
In the Telephone number text box, enter the NTCNet access number
Do not include the area code
Click Next
In the User name text box, type your NTCNet Internet username
In the Password text box, type your Internet Password
In the Confirm password text box, type your Internet password again
Click Next
Click the Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop check box so
that it has a tick
Click Finish
