Updating AVG AntiVirus Manually
Anti-Virus software must be updated with the latest virus definition files in
order to catch the newest viruses. If you don't update your anti-virus software
regularly, your computer's protection against infection will be seriously
compromised.
- In the taskbar, locate AVG icon. Point the cursor over
the icon, then click the right mouse button. Choose "Check for Updates" from
the menu that appears.
- The "Update" window appears. Click the button labeled
"Internet."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download the
update.
